Rectangular Silicone sponge offer the same physical characteristics and properties as the solid silicone rubber alternatives and better sealing performance.

 

The outstanding sealing performance of silicone foam extrusion greatly benefits from the superior flexibility and compression which allows silicone foams to form a tight seal before returning to its original shape after use.

 

All of extruded foam rectangles can be manufactured to meet key industry standards. Flame-retardant versions are available that comply with UL 94 V-0 and UL HB, which are essential for applications requiring enhanced fire safety.

Although there is no specific manual for its use, we recommend using Rectangular sponge silicone in applications where it is necessary to absorb differences in the tolerances of the materials to be sealed or welded, as well as in cases where significant compression of the material is required, ensuring excellent elastic memory.

We do not recommend their use in processes subjected to high mechanical stresses. For these cases, we offer custom solutions by manufacturing welded gaskets custom-made from any sponge silicone seal.

Usually packed in roll, 50-100 meter/roll; or customized according to customer requirement
