The most notable feature of silicone rubber is its high-temperature stability.
It can be used for a long time at 180℃ in the presence of air. If appropriate fillers and high-temperature additives are selected, its operating temperature can reach up to 375℃ and it can withstand instantaneous temperatures of several thousand degrees. It is estimated that the service life of common silicone rubber can reach 20 years at 120℃ and 5 years at 150℃.
