Silicone rubber has advantages that natural rubber and other synthetic rubbers do not possess, and these characteristics are determined by the nature of the silicon-oxygen bonds that make up the main chain of silicone rubber.

Silicone rubber features high thermal stability and excellent low-temperature performance, maintaining its softness, resilience, surface hardness and mechanical properties within the temperature range of -60 to 260℃. In addition, they also have excellent electrical insulation, weather resistance, ozone resistance and air permeability, and are non-toxic and odorless. Some special-structured silicone rubbers also have excellent oil resistance, solvent resistance, radiation resistance and other properties.
