India Has Made A Final Ruling On The Reverse Absorption Of Untreated Fumed Silica From China

  On August 11, 2025, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India issued an announcement, making a positive final determination on the reverse absorption of Untreated Fumed Silica originating from or imported from China. It is proposed to modify the anti-dumping duty determined by No. 66/2021-Customs(ADD) of 11 November 2021. The modified duty amount is as follows: The anti-dumping duty of Shandong Dongyue Silicone Material Co., Ltd. has been changed from 1,018 US dollars per ton to 1,296 US dollars per ton. The validity period is the same as that determined by No. 66/2021-Customs(ADD) of 11 November 2021; The anti-dumping duties of Chinese producer Wacker Chemicals Fumed Silica (Zhangjiagang) Co., Ltd. and other Chinese producers remain unchanged at $0 and $1,296 per ton respectively.
