What Is Silicone Foaming?

Silicone foaming is a two-component heated vulcanized silicone rubber, which is a white or skin-colored oily liquid, which becomes a soft elastic material after vulcanization, and the foaming volume is 3-4 of the original. It can be used to make rubber products such as human body, insoles, shoulder pads, patches, and non-slip pads.
Silicone foaming is composed of two parts: component A is silica gel, and component B is curing agent; The two components are mixed in a ratio of 1:1. Here's how to use it:
1. Stir the raw materials thoroughly before use to avoid uneven distribution of some raw materials caused by storage.
2. Mix the curing agent and raw materials in a certain proportion and stir for 2-3 minutes to ensure that the materials are mixed evenly.
3. The mixed product is vacuumed and used as soon as possible to avoid affecting the normal operation of production due to solidification.
4. It is recommended to use the ratio of curing agent: raw material = 1..100, curing temperature: 120 °C, curing time: 13~20min.
5. All utensils, containers and other items in contact with silica gel must be cleaned, and avoid contact with phosphorus (P), nitrogen (N), sulfur (S) compounds and metal organic compounds.
